‘Handmade on the farm with milk from our Pedigree Guernsey herd. Our Gouda is a young cheese, matured for a minimum of two months. It has a wonderful texture that is both silky and smooth on the palate. This semi-hard cheese has a springy feel at first which gives way to a wonderful buttery, nutty aroma’ – Briddlesford Farm.
Tip: Try smoking over hickory wood chips for an almost bacon-like flavour, then serve on biscuits and wash down with a good pint of ale.
