Pink Fir Apple is one of the oldest maincrop varieties still in use today.
A heritage variety, these fingerling potatoes are pink skinned with a waxy yellow flesh. They are long, narrow and famously knobbly.
Loved for their buttery waxy texture and nutty, earthy ‘new potato’ flavour.
Perfect for boiling or steaming, can be eaten hot or cold as a salad potato. You can also roast, wedge or saute slice this variety or, if you have the patience to peel them, they make a lovely mash.
